Performance installation: kimono made from favorite books, projection, venetian glass beads, 2 interactive computers, software.

For the Olympic Games, I fashioned a “Magic Mantle” - a Kimono, woven from the pages of my beloved books and quotes. Visitors were invited to join in through the internet, generating virtual beads from texts and poems via a computer program. My objective was to create a space where the concepts of winners and losers held no sway, conceiving of an Olympic game open to all, regardless of their location or the time.

The installations that I build for Museums often include a performance. I love to create sculptures, video and augmented reality, social software features for larger museum productions, festivals, fairs, government buildings and private companies.
